We're concluding our Paris recap with more of a glimpse into the fun we had together on a daily basis while we were there. The inspiration was real, the laughs were hearty, the cheese was smelly, the wine was lovely, and Paris was beyond amazing. Click through to share in the excitement!
At Maison & Objet
We walked through the exhibit halls until we couldn't walk anymore and then we stopped for wine. It's really the only way to do a show like this. And, after the difficulties we had getting to the show on the first day, the wine was really a necessity.
Marvelous Markets
Every time we passed a market when walking around Paris we couldn't help but stop. All of the gorgeous flowers, the fresh produce, cheeses, and more were truly a feast for the senses.
Bears Behaving Badly
The first time we saw one of these giant teddy bears we just thought that the storekeeper had a thing for bears. Then we kept seeing them and eventually found out that they were part of a project by a local bookseller who was working to bring the community of Les Gobelins together. We can only assume that he was successful because every time we saw them we couldn't help but smile and snap a photo.
J'adore Paris!
Whether it was a picnic on the grounds of the Eiffel Tower, adopting an honorary mascot (shout out to Dionne the Pomeranian!), taking in the wonder of Versailles, cruising the Seine, drinking in the spectacle of the Moulin Rouge, or enjoying all of the amazing eateries around the city we could not have fallen more deeply in love with Paris. We're all looking forward to visiting again soon!
We feel so privileged to have such an amazing team who truly enjoys spending time together that it really made this trip special. The memories that we all made here will truly last a lifetime and we can't imagine having shared it with anyone other than each other.
